I had all four wisdom teeth ripped out 18 months ago, under general anaestesia.
Definitely do it under general!
Waking up, you spit a lot of blood which is troubling for the mind, and they wrap your head in a cold bandage. When the anaestetic wears off it's a world of pain - it's bearable but really quite unpleasant. Keep in mind it does not last forever, the swelling goes down and the pain subsides after about a week (or sooner, if you're lucky). I learned that baby food and cold soup can actually be appetising although you need to eat many, many small tins in order to feel full. I'm still addicted to apple custard, egg custard and stewed apple ...

Six wisdom teeth? Do you suffer from headaches much?
Now I must investigate this! That is very intriguing, maybe it has something to do with evolution or something, if I find anything out about this I will let you know, I am quite curious myself.

all together I have 6 wisdom teeth. is that weird? (or is it not weird?)

I think my dentist wanted to earn a few dollars, my wisdom teeth were growing in perfect, my lower right wisdom tooth was extracted and I fel every moment of it although the dentist said "don't mistake pressure for pain", and the pain pills made me vomit. Now I have three remaining and no one is touching them! Pressure is pain if enough is applied!

My advice: make sure you are knocked out when you get the teeth removed! It may cost a little more, but well worth it.

I'm going to have my wisdom teeth extracted (on friday the 13th, of all days). They tell me I only have three. So I am wondering how many other mutant digital artists there are out there.
