I second that. A small city outside of a big city. Small enough to be quiet but close enough to drive into a bigger city for some good restaurants and shopping.

My favorite would be living about a half hour or hour outside of a large city. Years ago I lived in Tukwila. And in heavy traffic it would take about 1/2 on the bus to get to Seattle. That was the best.
