D'Venn is a character from one of my own stories. He is caught in a volatile era in which elves and humans have gone to war . Frustrated by the elders' apparent complacency, he takes matters into his own hands. After the death of his love at the hands of human invaders, he is thrown into a rage of vengeance. He strikes a deal with darkness to get all the power he needs to destroy humanity. This is his portrait, after his first great victory, after he has gained his power but before he begins to change to something less... earthly.
