Artist's Comment

A simple character design.

Inspired by the "Độc huyền cầm" (one-string instrument) - a very unique musical instrument of the Vietnamese. Unlike the zithers or violins which have multiple strings to be played, "độc huyền cầm" can play all music notes with just one string. The sound is changed by adjusting the left rod or by tossing the string in different ways.

Traditional it's used for Vietnamese opera and classic songs. However, it can play all kinds of music if the player has mastered it enough. I used to see some band use it to play modern rock.
