Corporate America coping with economic downturn by consolidating Thanks Giving, Christmas, and New Years Day into one holiday, thereby saving man hours and increasing production without consideration to the emotional feelings of the worker.

In the words of the late , Great, Frank Zappa, this work is "Strictly Commercial", just as Helen Earth points out in her comment. In a way this consoladated holiday concept would be great because we could get over the holiday hype in one day. Corporations have a way of spinning the truth behind concepts into profits and loses. Corporations profit and we loose.Peace on Earth - there's no money in that.
