Having had my historical ignorance corrected and finding out that it was the athenians who had a verticle plume and that the spartans had a horizontal plume I would like to amend my vote from 4.5 to 5. If the people who run this site see this comment I would appreciate it if the would make the adjustment.... and my apologies to the artist... it is an excellent piece!

The picture is perfect... except of one minor detail: the horse hair plume on the helmet is facing in the wrong direction. They went vertically down the back of the helmet, not horizontally across the crown of the helmet.
