This was an experiment with ZBrush, Photoshop, and Painter in an effort to create 2d fur and hair over a 3d sculpture. ZBrush is awesome, by the way, but has no hair rendering. While I definitely didn't achieve photo realism, the middle ground I did reach had an artistic look that I liked. I'm from Louisville, KY, home of the Kentucky Derby. So I'm also working on some horse race pieces that will catch more action also. This was more experimental for fur with less thought towards actual composition. Crits welcome.
