The Abandoned Gas Station (Architecture) digital artwork by Vladimir Petkovic

Artist's Comment
This is a recreation of classical route 66 scene, lost in space&time.

I was inspired (and admired) by real places all across America.

Took me some time to do all the details and textures, but still, there are many details to be fixed...

Please tell me what you think?

nice. try punching or pinching it in photoshop, just to get rid of the "mathmatical perspective". computers are idiots when it comes to fish eye effects, so you have to help it on the way. If you dont know what i mean - i'm talking about the windmill, and the sign, in theory everything close to the edge of the picture. they seem stretched in a linear kind of way. if this had been a real picture taken with a fisheye objective, everything at the efge of the picture would have been stretched and bend in a more radial kind of way.
the modeling looks nice. and the colors and textures are cool. you have captured a nice mood here. the trees seems out of focus tho, which makes them stand out in a bad way. if the sky behind the trees were out of focus as well it would have made sence.
keep it up
