I was away on vacation in Singapore the past couple of days. The Christmas decorations didn't really impress me this year but, late one night, as I was stuck in traffic, I was struck by how the light from the strings of street lights and other lamps was bouncing crazily off reflective surfaces. So of course I *had* to draw that.
Speedpaint, referenced from a decidedly bad photograph I took on board said taxi. I've been trying to ditch my obsessive sensibilities in favour of looser, messier brushwork, but this still came out a little tighter than I would've liked. I guess I'm all right with that for now. |
