I've long been fascinated by Celtic knotwork and I have endeavoured to advance the artform a little.
This phoenix is one continuous band that starts at its eye and ends at the tip of the beak, with a few detours along the way.

How can this be called plain?? No way . So much flow and structure yet free. I love the coloring and outline and just really the whole picture. Great job!!!
