My interpretation of this is that it is supposed to be muddled at the bottom. The ballerina seems to be dancing into a cleaner vision. I see it as making a choice from dirty to clean and organic.

I think using an actual photo is a different spin on this type of art. Usually I see more vector style images of people incorporated with this style. Parts of it I think could use some work, namely the bottom. It looks a little "dirty" and brush heavy. Nice job overall.
