The past present and future are all joined. Here I stand upon this road of life, but have I not come to the end of my road? My past lingers behind me an ever encroaching shadow of familiar memories and gilt. Before me my uncertain future awaits do I take the risk and continue forward? An easier choice to turn around and return from whence I came, return to the shadows of memories and fade away. But upon the distant horizon a silver lining has graced the clouds. Perhaps an uncertain future is less of a risk after all. Why follow a path already trodden when I can create a new path with every step I take exploring the uncertain future for better or for worst. It will only take one step and I will have begun along a new road. The past may always follow but I will always be one step ahead.
