Image done with CGSociety's latest online workshop taught by Don Seegmiller about monster painting. The assignment was to focus on monster eyes. I decided to draw inspiration from the infinite nature of fractals (like the mandelbrot fractal) hence the name.

Very cool and well thought out design-wise. The highlights on the tentacles are also very realistic, the one in the lower left damn-near looks real.
