Good point. For me the problem stems from starting the scene in Bryce and finishing it in Photoshop. Doesn't excuse it but I probably wouldn't have the intensity of colors etc. if starting from scratch.
I will pursue more.

there is a weird felling of absence of obvioce light source , all the colors are very strong and vivid but they not back up by as same as strong shadows as it should be (IMHO)
