Not much to comment on, this piece has taken a while and has gone through many revisions some of which included nebulae. In the end I decided to go with a simplistic look with a simple black out on the sides to draw attention to the central areas. I used a starfield which was around 4000x4000 originally before narrowing it down to an area I felt would fit the piece more. The planet's texture is also 4000x4000 although the planet its self is only 2000x2000 and was furthur reduced once place in. The starfield's .psd was around 154mbs while the final piece's .psd was only around 50mbs. There are around 15 layers but to make the piece I probably have around 40-50 layer in total.
