Below average? Maybe in utilization of digital art tools, but not in artistic power. Telling everyone that you were a beginner has led everyone to coaching you and telling you how much you are coming along. Don't listen to any of them. This picture is as good as any of theirs with its thrifty use of texture and fauve-bold color fields. The surrounding blue seems to want to envelope the shiny black crescent of hair framing the slightly askew, pink shaded, planar face and its distinct, blue-saturated eyes. Blue, black and red dominate this work, lending majesty to the face's otherwise perplexing gaze. Very well done.
