Outstanding! It looks very photorealistic and you really get a sense of the powder texture on her face. They eyes look freakishly lifelike and you even pay attention to the veins in her hands. One of my favourite pieces on here!

This is stunning work! The tonal quality of the skin is exquisite. You gave her skin a beautiful translucence that makes her face seem to glow. The eyes are remarkable and beautifully rendered. Congratulations on a magnificant piece of art!

Thanks so much for the art of the week :) I would also like to share the making of thread with you which can be found here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=408851 you can also see the reference there. although I am proud of this piece (it took me quite a long time to do it, almost a month working off and on) I consider it nothing more than "practice" since I put nothing of my own in it except the background. It was critised as being highly referenced and of course it is, I clearly stated that in my post along with the image, and I do not expect anyone to call it "art" as one could call a Bergkvist painting or other masters works. It is merely a reproduction, since I still don't feel skilfull enough to create an image from scratch. I just tried to make the painting as similar as possible to the photograph, nothing more nothing less. Just thought I'd make that clear since in another forum a moderator decided to put my piece in the "photomanipulation" section which I found very insulting and sad after all the work that I put into it. Thanks for reading and thanks so much for looking.
