im so sorry for this delay in replying. was away from internet for quite somedays.
jon, i like how u observed it with such an interest. for light, ive a keen interest in that, i treat it as a subject on its own, even when i do real oil paintings. i did study/consulted refs for hill and mountians for preparatory sketching.
to understant light ive always preferred to work from life. paint from real set ups, light arrangement, esp. with still life paintings.
gaudi...interesting always...:).

Superb, I wanna go there! Reminds me of Native American pueblo - I don't know if it was intended but I really like the felling of danger and safety at the same time! Like Aboriginal initian rights or something...in these caves could be your doom or you salvation, it's up to you.
Also, the observation of light is just STUNNING! How did you get it so perfect? Did you use a real rock formation for observing the light?
