Actually, I like the chunk-like structure to this and I find it rather more stylized than just a photoshop job. Good work I want to see more.

I like the concept of this and the overall composition. However, it appears that you created this using only the cut-out filter in Photoshop. (I may be wrong about that assumption)

The cut-out filter is great for giving you a "vector-sketch." What I mean by that is this would be a good reference source for recognizing where you may want to draw your vector shapes using the pen tool. That will allow you to add more specific detail to the ground, sky and bush the man is carrying.
