A design of a fictious glass of red/white wine ...it's only a close-up, I will come up with more pics.
Modelled+detailed in 3dsmax + Zbrush. The heart took 2 afternoons to complete, paying special attention to the anatomical precision... it has 670000+ faces, but unfortunately, it seems to be overdetailed: with this glass material, that only reflects/refracts/generates caustics, and hides special detalis....I could have the same result in 1/10 the faces, and work time...
Rendered in 3dsmax / Vray, orig. size 1500*1500, sampling 1..4, indirect illumination and caustics on, Primary bounces set to Irradiance map/high qual, secondary to QMC/4 bounces...render time was about 4,5 hours (AMD Athlon 3000+).
It's just the pure output of smax, I didn't want to upload the photoshopped version...the minor bugs are fixed in that.
