| This piece was done for a contest, which topic was nightmare itself. True, it's not something that will make you tremble, but I've tried a different approach in capturing fear trough a more comic setting (at least I think I managed to pull it off, you're the one to tell whether I succeeded or not :)). The kid, which is looking at the monster manual, gets into the fantasy world which just a minute ago was on the page before his eyes. A place with all kinds of creatures, good and evil alike. Unfortunately for him he fell among a bunch of trolls. That's why I labeled the painting this way: Monster manual. It took me 3 to 4 days, 4 hours a day to complete it. I hope you will like it. |
