Obstacle Underground (Fantasy) digital artwork by Bruno Werneck

Artist's Comment
This is a quick painting I did on the weekend. I was experiment with some Photoshop brushes that I had created.

I had a lot of fun working on this. Personally, I prefer those quick paintings over the super finished / detailed ones...there's a lot more movement, the strokes are more dynamic...

cheers,
Bruno

funny, this remided me of Craig mullins way of painting. Kind of lazy painting but he lifts upp some of the parts to make you take the picture seriusly.

ALIVE! What more can I say? It`s like a pause frame in a great SCI FI flick. Love it.

I'd say that was a successful experiment :D
Very nice feeling to it. I ahve to agree with you that a sketchy painting like this is more refreshing than a "normal" one(if they're not very good)

Nice work! I think it would look better if some of the scenery painting were more defined like the front of the monster and the figures. This style does work in some cases, but here it's not meshing quite right. Other than that, I still love this and the magician is fine. =)
