Great work. I disagree with a couple of the posts. The despecled look gives it an old look that goes along with the subject matter, and the upper left corner is the darker part of the storm, so there shouldn't be any more detail. The gulls don't look out of place either. Keep up the good work.

Very nice water. I also concurr that the texture, while achieving the effect of watercolors, can be a bit distracting. I also can't help but think there could be a little more details in the grey clouds on the upper left of the painting.
