This girl is a lady dragon in human form. I have no idea why you could see her dragon form at the same time but oh well. Client said he loved it.

i figured she was the dragon too. so, it gets across somehow! beautiful work, i love the shade of gold that you chose. nice and delicate, not so crass like gold can be.

That's just what I thought when I saw it, even before I saw your description. I think the dragon in the background could even be sort-of a visual depiction that in reality isn't really there. It's VERY good, it's the kind of thing I would have hanging in my bedroom/bathroom if it went with the color scheme.
