Thanks for the comments guys - truth is, this was just a bit of CG practice, as I had only CGed once or twice before this pic. If you guys are into your backgrounds (didn't realise it was such a big thing here! I wanted to keep it simple! the character looks nice but the truth is the background is kinda boring. but other wise it looks great.

Character has a very pleasant vibe, hair looks excellent, colors also set a relaxed feel to the image, I like the background even though it is simple it gives the picture somewhat of a dreamy/nostalgic feel. I will check out your series.
