Be sure to paint at atleast 150 dpi resolution, higher if you want to emulate Photo realism.
What Tablet... Intuos 2, or 3 ... or maybe a lowly graphire.... I used my graphire for one painting and knew I wanted a pro tablet.
ATTENTION: the WACOM " stroke pen" (99$) ROCKS compared to all others but you sacrifice the rocker switch and eraser... but its worth it for raster anyways. Switch back to grip pen for vector work...FYI

pretty, but looks like some one has raped her with a magnifying glass! I see blurred pixels everywhere especially in her hair! Still nice though! her nose is a bit flat... it's ok!
