The image was drawn with aid from a few reference pictures of the Australian White-Naped Honyeater. I based the picture on a sketch I drew which I scanned into the computer. It took about 6 hours to complete.

wow why does this have no comments? amazing details - specially in the feathers..that's a totally adorable painting.
