I think it's great! Reminds me of Breath of Fire.

It could almost be a pastel drawing, except for the aforementioned patch of pure black on ... Vann's? head. You could either add contrast everywhere or turn that patch blue. ;-)

Of course, this is a year later.

Fantastic perspective, but the color seems REALLY washed out. The hair on the guy with the sword is almost the only area with pure black, which makes all of the other really pale shadows look even worse. Adding a bit of depth could make this image really incredible.
