First in a set of bookmarks (I hope!) The idea was to gryphon-ify some common Hong Kong birds (s'where I live), and put them on bookmarks.

This is an Oriental Magpie Robin (Copsychus saularis) - they're pretty common, and beautiful birds, too!

Some experimentation on *cough* nonexistent backgrounds *cough* here, as well as tree bark and feather detail.

I like it!!! I am into bookmarks, since I use them for all my books! And I make them, mostly for children, but love to create them also!! ^_^
