The Final Version of This Practice image i was doing.

It's been a long test for me, but i think this project really taught me alot about photoshop, and i will eventually write up a summary of how i did this.

Expect Comprehensive Photoshop Video Tutorials from me soon when my companies site is up, it will be www.redarson.com
currently it is

About the Image.

The image was started by drawing during my AVID and Math Classes, (out of boredome)
for some reason, i remembered one of my friend's friend's hair during lunch, and i was talking to this one girl with long blonde hair, and so the whole hair idea seemed cool, i started scetching and i came up with a rough idea of what i might want to do, and it ended up looking like a warrior who was exausted from a fierce battle.
After several hours of painting, at home in photoshop, i came up with my first release of this image, Wartorn, which is very plain, and has no realistic lighting or shadows.
After several more hours (this was during the course of 2 weeks) i was ready for my second release of this image, which was a night-looking version of the scene. I recieved some decent feedback from it, and so continued the project.

After around 3 more hours of lighting touchup, i decided to combine the blue idea with my original light idea, and have the effect of evil, and death in the distance, and a beam of light surrounding the warrior, who seems to be mourning the loss of someone important in his life.

The area around the warrior is given a more peaceful theme than the surroundings because it is a grave of a fallen comrade.

Anyway, i hope you guys like this as much I i liked making it.

i like it...........
its a very deep image, i love the fact that the tomb-stone is in the shadows. i definitly agree with the warrior, when you first look at it, the story forms and it comes naturally.

I love the highlights and the subtle detail. I only wish there was more though, but I know how hard it can be.
