I guess a little explaination is in order (there was a second rendition of this piece which didn't make the cut, and it contained all that I am writing here now) This is a reference to the 70's ELO hit "Don't Bring Me Down" which was dedicated to keeping Skylab afloat. I was hoping to carve Geoff Lynn's (lead singer of ELO) big afro'd goatee'd head out of some nebulas. The telescope itself makes up his nose, and the solar panels are sunglasses.
Of course, possibly blinded by enthusiasm, I am the only one to as yet see this. But. For the record, now you know.
