Hope (Science Fiction) digital artwork by Jen Zee

Artist's Comment
First real full-blown militaristic piece I've done in a psuedo-anime psuedo-realistic style... Tips are wanted and welcome :). Firearm pro's....please be gentle X_X. I totally forgot about having to have a STRAP on her P90...so it's....weird. Lets just assume there's some kind of "backpack" it's stuck in XD.

It's a lightly romantic image....urbanish I guess... Feel free to make your own story . I only have a vague idea....and emotion attached to it. Huge inspirations rooted in the songs: "Omega" from Jin roh, and "Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday" from MGS: Sons of Liberty.

Comments, critiques, etc are all appreciated :)!

Painter 7, gun reference used can be found by typing "P90" into google image search. No reference for the girl/armour/etc.

I don't know why but I love this picture. Apart from the couple of quibbles already expressed by previous reviews (such as the lack of straps and so on) this is bloody good. Love the sentiment!

nice pic!! BUT... the P90 is so misplaced... its way to little and it doesnt look like its strapped to her back, its like it is just floating behind her.
besides from that... I love it!

Excellent contrasts between textures/function. The face is a little fragile - not emotionally but structurally. The only point that Bill does have is that the blue/blonde becomes a stronger and less interesting focal point than the emotion and other messages in the picture.

This piece caught my eye & it's fabulous. I'm new here & don't want to step on anyones toes but those comments from "mcbill" are just wrong. If that's his reason for giving your work a 1.00 he does not belong here. Nice job Jen Zee!

I'm very confused, what kind of ignorant fool takes offence to something beautiful, just because it's the wrong colour? I'm guessing Billy regards himself as an anti-racial forum freedom fighter, it's a shame he comes across as just another small minded cretin. Anyway, the artwork.. I think the title "Hope" is perfect, couldnt be any better.

In response to Billy McBill: OMG Guess what?! I'm Asian and I'm a WHITE SUPREMECIST. OMFG I JUST LOVE drawing blonde haired blue eye girls. I mean...It's the EPITOME of BEAUTY. I draw them *ALL THE TIME*. Seriously. Check out my ENTIRE GALLERY! They're *everywhere!*. Ahahaha you make me laugh, Billy McBill :). I don't undertsand where people like you crawl out from :). Please get over your silly little politics and self-righteousness. I don't care for it, thank you! :D.
