Masterfully crafted painting. I love your rendition of the water and waves. It reminds me of a Dutch master painting I saw in Amsterdam.
A couple of technical points: 1) Shouldn't the flags be blowing the other way since the ship is heading into the waves? I assume they are using a sea anchor to keep the bow into the wind since the sails are down. 2) Where is all the light coming from in a storm?
