Never really liked the cat's eye version that is so popular. So... voila!
Fairly simple and straight forward to create. Although tweaking the colours always seems to take forever, the majority of the "work" took only about 10-15 minutes.
Only standrad filters used
Polar Coordinates
Film Grain
Motion Blur
Plastic wrap (mostly washed out during colour tweaking)
Channel mixer and selective colour used to change the colour from blue (!) to red.
Let me know what you think of it and any suggestions you have.

in spite of the simplicity of this piece and the easyness to make it, this really looks great! Keep up the good work... But try integrating this kind of cool details into some larger and more epic pieces, it would be great!
