The first in a series of 4 images that show the USS Yorktown entering the Jovian system in route to its first destination Io, one of 61 known moons that orbit this gas giant. I first had in mind going to Europa first than Io but, I could not find a good texture to depict that moon so, first stop Io. The model was created in Bryce5 from scratch, all concepts and designs by me. The image of both Jupiter and Io are from JPL/NASA and the starfield was created using Universe. Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on my work.
