Of all of the text and graphics urban hip kind of work I've seen, this one seems to be doing pretty well.
The right aligned font choice is a nice san serif which reinforces the modern feel of a sign (like an ad you might find in a subway) meant for conveying in direct manner important information. The use of color is not ostentatious (sticking to primaries is always a good method). I really like that cyan-blue color on the bottom and the heavy black horizontal is a nice base and almost functions as a type of drop shadow.
The repeated horizontals which serve to create a type of letterboxing effect of the subway map are effective, as letterboxing is a device employed in many commercial advertisements. The horizontals are further supported by the composition of the blurred subway itself which is pushing into the more energetic diagonals. The static figure on the right is a wonderful grounding/resting point compared to the overall energetic level of the rest of the work.
My only suggestion would be to crop more off of the left side up to the point of the negative white-yellow figure's left shoulder--which is about where the red line terminates on the left. Visual info beyond here seems superfluous & I think by cutting it and relocating the focus of the word "underground" directly in the upper left, the impact of the piece will increase.
