Photo reference used. I like the ragged look as much as the detail of his face. Originally the picture is grayscale only, i added a blue layer for effects.

Dammit, why did he have to pass away...-_-

OMG! I love this pic! QUEEN ROCKS! I like what you did with Mercury's face. I like the fact that you DIDN'T put any detail on the smaller face b/c you have such good detail on the close-up. Very well done and yes Freddie will be missed immensely(Aids SUCK!) :(
