She's so painterly that it takes away from her anime aspect or at least what I think when I think of anime. I'm not sure the combination of the two work so well. However, the way you've painted her shows a promising talent. And as far as the composition, it's great! You've done well in capturing the deep felt expression on her face, and I like the wind swept hair... as if she going to let her sorrow carry her away!
