Actually, it looks like a guy who vaguely resembles Jack Nicholson...and is pissed off because he's watching a movie with Nicholson in it, and he's always thought that he looks better than Nicholson, yet can't understand why he still flunked out of acting school...

Those crisp shadows speak volumes. There is something immediately depressing about such a look on his face; yet, thats the same look you get @ 2a.m. during the final moments of a cheesy godzilla movie. :)
